This project started out as a solution to my own needs. To be honest, I was looking for a macOS Notes alternative in the beginning. So I want to develop a note-taking app of my own.
Because I have never developed a text editing application and am not a heavy user of note taking applications. Therefore, the early Simark was almost unusable, or barely usable. It's getting better now, but there are still many aspects that I'm not very satisfied with. Taste is a gradual process of improvement. Many details were not discovered at the beginning, perhaps because of my different personal usage habits. So it took a lot of time to get it from being unusable in the early versions to being adequate now. I feel like if this continues, it will be endless and my personal time will be wasted for no reason.
So I decided to stop polishing the details and focus on the next phase of development.
Launched paid functions such as cloud synchronization and online sharing (local use continues to be free). Support iOS and iPadOS platforms. macOS multi-window function. A more appropriate user feedback collection system. Listen more to user feedback, and then consider accepting and improving it.I'm considering whether to close the forum and use more pure email to gather feedback. Although people continue to register for forum accounts, few use it. Of course, if there are still users who continue to use it, I will consider keeping the forum, otherwise I will close the forum in the next few months.
